I’m Emma — a family photographer LocATED ON THE SOUTH SHORE OF MASSACHUSETTS and proud boy mom ×3, raising my crew in the wrestling on the living room floor, soccer in the house chaos that defines life with boys. NEWBORNS

Newborn sessions are slow, gentle, and completely centered around your baby and the tender rhythm of these first days. There is no rush here — just time for feeding, soothing, snuggling, and capturing your family exactly as you are in this brand-new chapter. My approach is natural and thoughtfully posed, focusing on the tiny details you never want to forget and the quiet connection already unfolding between you. These early moments pass in a blur of love and exhaustion, and my hope is to preserve them in a way that feels honest, emotional, and timeless so you can always remember just how little they once were.

THE IN- BETWEEN

Mini sessions are designed to be simple, efficient, and full of heart — perfect for families who want beautiful, updated images without committing to a full session. In a shorter window of time, we’ll capture genuine smiles, natural connection, and the personality that makes your family yours. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, documenting a new season, or just realizing it’s been far too long since you’ve printed a photo, minis are an easy way to preserve this moment without overcomplicating it. Thoughtfully planned and offered in limited spots throughout the year, they tend to go quickly for a reason — effortless, meaningful images in a format that fits into real life.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

After booking, I will walk you through all the details from start to finish so you feel fully prepared — it’s completely normal to feel a mix of anticipation and nerves. My goal is to create a relaxed, natural experience so you can focus on simply being present with the people you love. Choose outfits that feel comfortable and true to your style — think neutrals and soft textures for a timeless look. And don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to pose; I’ll gently guide you every step of the way while allowing authentic moments to unfold naturally.

What happens if my kids don’t cooperate?

This is one of the biggest worries parents have — and I promise you are not alone. Children don’t need to “perform” for beautiful photos; I approach every session with patience and flexibility, allowing plenty of room for movement, play, and breaks if needed. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments, so simply let your kids be themselves and trust that I’ll gently guide the rest. A little PSA for parents: please don’t bribe your kids beforehand. Instead, hype them up and let them know you’re going to hang out with a really cool friend who just so happens to be taking some pictures while we play 🙂

How much are your sessions?

My pricing begins at $200, with a range of session options designed to meet families in different seasons of life. I offer everything from mini sessions for quick, meaningful updates to lifestyle and in-home sessions that allow for a more relaxed, storytelling approach. Each experience is thoughtfully crafted to feel easy, natural, and true to your family — while preserving the moments you’ll want to hold onto for years to come.

How long does it take to receive our photos?

Your gallery will be thoughtfully edited and delivered within about two-three weeks of your session. I take great care in refining each image so your final gallery feels cohesive, timeless, and well worth the wait. Once ready, you’ll receive an online gallery where you can easily download, share, and print your photos.

Where will our session take place? Can you recommend locations?

Whether you envision an open field, coastal backdrop, wooded path, or something more classic, I’m happy to guide you toward locations that photograph beautifully while complementing your family’s style.

What is your policy for cancellation or rescheduling?

I understand that family life can be beautifully chaotic — kids get sick, schedules shift, and unexpected things pop up. I do my best to remain flexible whenever possible. Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to your session, and please note that the retainer is non-refundable. Rescheduling is at the discretion of the photographer, but I will always make every effort to fit you back into my calendar as soon as I can.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Photography sessions make a thoughtful, lasting gift for growing families, new parents, or anyone wanting to preserve a special season of life. Gift cards can be purchased for a specific session or in a custom amount, and they never go out of style!!
